The MSAS team have an in-depth understanding of the barriers that men and boys are often faced with, following an experience of sexual assault. They work across the counties, delivering training and awareness sessions, to help organisations better understand this subject. Through partnership working, we are able to develop pathways into the SARC for those who need our help.
The MSAS Male Outreach Workers receive specialist training, to support men and boys who have experienced sexual assault. If you would like to speak to a Male Outreach Worker, please contact your local SARC and they should be able to put you in touch with a member of the MSAS team.
The SARC Teams
The Beech House SARC in Kent is managed by Katy Cawkwell. The Solace Centre SARC in Surrey is managed by Pat Battersby.
Each SARC Manager is supported by a team of specially trained Support Workers and Forensic Nurse Examiners, who look after clients during their visit to our SARC.
All of our Support Workers receive specialist training, to support people who have experienced sexual violence or sexual abuse, and they will be available to assist and support our clients during their visit to our SARC.
All of our Forensic Nurse Examiners are fully qualified nurses, with years of experience. They have also completed specialist training to enable them to carry out medial assessments and examinations at the SARC.
